A Sunday Call and a Hidden Problem

A blocked drain at Mohammed’s Plumpton home turned out to be more than a simple blockage.

Mohammed called Friendly Plumbing on a Sunday. The team booked a plumber to visit the next morning.

Tree Roots and a Broken Pipe Connection

The Friendly Plumbing team used a CCTV drain camera to look inside Mohammed’s sewer pipe.

The camera footage showed tree roots growing inside the pipe and blocking the flow.

The plumber showed Mohammed the footage so he could see the tree roots for himself.

The team also sent Mohammed a photo of another problem. It showed that the angled pipe connection leading into the sewer access point had completely broken.

Seeing the footage and photo helped Mohammed understand that the problem was more serious than a simple blockage.

The plumber then explained what needed to be fixed and discussed the price with Mohammed before the work began.

Fixing the Pipe From the Inside

Friendly Plumbing used pipe relining to repair the damaged part of the pipe from the inside.

This meant the team could fix the problem without digging up large areas of Mohammed’s property.
